Topeka, KS – TPD announced that the suspect in the murder of Jennifer A. Morris has died from his injuries from the police shooting.
His name is Jesse B. Lees and he was armed when officers fired at him.
Multiple officers were involved in the shooting and the incident surrounding it, but none of them were injured.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is reviewing what happened in the shooting.
This unfortunate incident occurred right after 11 a.m. near the 700 block of Southwest Polk.
