Two taken into custody in connection with the attempted theft of an ATM in Auburn

Auburn, KANSAS – Two taken into custody in connection with the attempted theft of an ATM in Auburn, Kan. With assistance from citizens reporting timely information, the Sheriff’s Office apprehended the suspect near SW 53rd Street and SW Wanamaker Road.

35-year-old Trimaine Baker was booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections and charged with aggravated criminal damage, burglary, theft and criminal damage to property.

On Thursday, August 25, 2022, around 12:30pm, the Topeka Police Department located 43-year-old Michael Frink in the 1500 block of South Kansas Avenue.

Frink was arrested, booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections and charged with conspiracy, flee and elude, burglary, criminal damage, theft, attempted theft and criminal damage over $25,000 for the Sheriff’s Office case.

No other information is available at the moment.
