TOPEKA, Kan. – Senator Jerry Moran has announced that $8.9 million in grants will go to Kansas airports to help with COVID-19 related costs. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) says $8.9 million in U.S. Department of Transportation grants will go to 23 Kansas airports in order to help with COVID-19 related expenses. He said the grants were made available by the Federal Aviation Administration as part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act.
