Wichita, Kan. — Wichita Police Department officers responded to a shooting call at the apartment complex in the 2500 block of West 31st Street South in Wichita.
When the officers arrived at on scene, they located a 25-year-old man who had been shot.
He suffered non-life-threatening injury and was transported to a hospital.
The victim reported meeting two suspects he was familiar with at the apartments regarding his stolen car.
While meeting with them one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and shot him.
Then he fled.
This incident is under investigation.
