Three people were taken to a local hospital after a two-car, head-on crash late Thursday on K-4 highway along the Oakland Expressway in the northeast part of Topeka

TOPEKA – According to the police officials, the crash occurred right before 10:00 p.m. on K-4 highway near the N.E. Seward Avenue exit.

Nissan Altima and a Chrysler 300 collided as they were traveling on K-4.

The Nissan was southbound and the Chrysler was northbound on the highway.

The Nissan had two occupants while the Chrysler’s driver was alone in the car.

None of the three people had injuries that were considered life-threatening.

This incident is under investigation.
