Topeka, Kan. – According to the statement, Gov. Kelly issues executive order for Memorial Day.
She said:
“On Memorial Day, let us all come together to honor and remember the women and men in the U.S. Armed Forces who lost their lives protecting our freedom and our way of life.
Today and every day, we owe them our gratitude.”
She has directed that flags be lowered to half-staff throughout the state effective from sunup until noon on Monday, May 31 in recognition of Memorial Day
