TOPEKA, Kan. – Topeka Police are investigating a shooting near 6th and Chandler that left one person dead.
TPD says officers were dispatched to the area just before 7:30 p.m on April 15th. on report of a shooting. One person was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital.
After arriving to a local hospital, the victim was pronounced dead. This victim has been identified as a juvenile and no further information has been released at this time.
