TOPEKA, Kan. – According to the statement, this unfortunate incident occurred in the southbound lanes near 46th Street around 4:10 p.m. on Monday.
The tractor’s front tire blew out, causing the rig to cross through the grass median and into the northbound lanes.
Then, the semi clipped a northbound pickup truck and then struck a guardrail.
The driver has a minor injuries and he is also taken to the hospital.
