PARSONS, Kansas – The crash happened on U.S. 59 and Corning Avenue in Parsons.
The crash occurred around around 4:50 p.m. Sunday.
Chevy Malibu and a Harley-Davidson were were heading south when the car struck the motorcycle.
The motorcycle slid on its side.
The name of the rider is Phillip Moore and he died at the scene.
The driver of the Malibu and the two passengers were not hurt.
This incident is under investigation.
