Kansas – The Barton County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on suspicion of indecent solicitation of a child after it received a tip from an organization who assists law enforcement in capturing alleged sexual predators involving children.

On Tuesday, Feb. 16, Deputies and detectives began surveying an area of Great Bend after Motor City Justice shared information with the sheriff’s office that led officials to believe an individual was attempting to solicit unlawful activity with a minor.

Shortly after 5 p.m. deputies made contact with 32-year-old Lonny Miller, of Larned, Kansas.

“Deputies had reason to believe probable cause existed that Miller was attempting to solicit a 15-year-old for sex,” the sheriff’s office said.

Miller was booked at the Barton County Jail on charges of indecent solicitation of a child, attempted exploitation of a child and electronic solicitation. His bond is set at $100,000.
