Regional Basketball Brackets Released for Classes 2A-6A

TOPEKA, Kan. – Following the conclusion of regular season play on Friday night, the Kansas High School Activities Association has released the sub-state brackets for classes 2A through 6A.

Five teams from the capital city would have home-court advantage for a sub-state championship game. Unbeaten Topeka High is the #2 overall seed in the 6A West girls bracket, and the Washburn Rural boys, last year’s 6A state runners-up, are the #2 seed in the 6A west as well. In 5A, the Seaman Lady Vikes are the top seed in the 5A East bracket, while on the boys side, Highland Park and Topeka West are seeded third and fourth, respectively.
